All faresEnjoy the Olympics and Paralympics in Milan by public transport. We have planned an extra service with extended operating hours during the Games. Here's all you have to know.
Metro, buses, trams and railway services: the Greater Milan or just the city centre
From 5 to 21 February (Olympics): the last metro trains depart from the terminal stations at 2 a.m. and pass through the city centre at about 2:20 a.m.
From 7 to 14 March (Paralympics): the last metro trains depart from the terminal stations at 1 a.m. and pass through the city centre at about 1:20 a.m.
No extra service is scheduled on the metro line M2 sections between Cascina Gobba and Cologno and between Cascina Gobba and Gessate
Opening Ceremony: we will update this page with the services to reach the events scheduled for Thursday 5th and Friday 6th February
Tram routes 12 and 27 operate more frequently on competition days
Bus route 45 runs until 2 a.m. between Lambrate station, the arena and the San Donato terminus of metro line M3
Bus route 88 runs until 2 a.m. between Rogoredo station, the arena and viale Ungheria (terminus of tram routes 12 and 27)
Special shuttles (Hockey Arena Shuttle) connect the arena to Rogoredo station from 7 a.m. until 2 a.m.
During the Olympics and Paralympics, the entire night bus network operates every night.
Route NM1 (which replaces the metro M1 - Red line) also stops at Portello station (metro M5 station), where the Milano Cortina 2026 Media Center is located. Only during the Olympics, NM1 service is extended beyond Milan to Rho Fiera (Ice Park)
NM2 route (which replaces the metro M2 - Green line) operates a special service to Assago Forum (Ice Skating Arena) both during the Olympics and during the Paralympics. No service is planned between Gobba, Cologno Monzese and Gessate
Bisceglie, Molino Dorino, Lampugnano, Famagosta, San Donato, Cascina Gobba and Maciachini car parks are open until 3:10 a.m. during the Olympics. Until 2:10 a.m. during the Paralympics

Lotto station (metro M1– Red line)
San Siro Stadium station (metro M5 – Lilac line)
Rho Fieramilano station (metro M1– Red line). Shuttles reserved for people with disabilities (managed by Milano Cortina 2026) connect the metro station (East Gate exit) to the arena and the stadium
Rho Fiera railway station (S lines or regional trains operated by Trenord)
Assago Forum station (metro M2– Green line). Shuttles reserved for people with disabilities (managed by Milano Cortina 2026) connect the metro station (Hotel Luna exit) to the arena
Tram 27, stop viale Ungheria / via Guerrieri Gonzaga. Trams depart from piazza Fontana, behind Piazza Duomo, and meet the M4 metro (Blue line) at Repetti station
Tram 12, stop viale Ungheria / via Guerrieri Gonzaga. Trams cross the city centre and meet the metro M2 (Green line) at Lanza, the M1 (Red line) at Cordusio, the M3 (Yellow line) at Missori, the M4 (Blue line) at Repetti and the M5 (Lilac line) at Cenisio
Rogoredo station (metro M3 - Yellow line. Or S lines or regional trains, operated by Trenord) + Hockey Arena Shuttle. These special shuttles depart from Rogoredo station. The same tickets are accepted on the shuttles as on metro, trams and buses. Credit cards are also accepted. Shuttle timetables

These tickets are valid to travel in and around Milan. They are also accepted to get to the Ice Park at Rho Fiera and to the Ice Skating Arena at Assago (Mi1-Mi3 fare zones).
These passes are valid for unlimited travels on metro, buses, trams, trolleybuses, regional trains and S lines.
It is valid from Monday to Sunday within the same week. Price: €18.50. It is also valid for the Ice Park at Rho Fiera and the Ice Skating Arena at Assago.
It is also valid to for the Ice Park at Rho and the Ice Skating Arena at Assago. Price: €50.
It is accepted for travels within the city of Milan only. It does not cover trips to the Ice Park at Rho Fiera or the Ice Skating Arena at Assago. Price: €39.

Fares vary out of Milan. Find out the best fare for your journey
Urban passes are not valid for Ice Park and Ice Skating Arena, because Rho and Assago are located outside the Municipality of Milan. To reach them you need a €1.70 extra fare. It can be loaded directly onto the pass card from automatic ticket machines in the metro. The loaded integration is deducted at the first metro entry.
